Fantawatt is the name that encompasses my teaching activities with children. This is done primarily through thematic workshops of creative use of technology. The purpose of the courses is to teach children to have an active and critical relationship with technology, and not just be passive consumers.<\/p>\n

The Fantasien Werkstatt, <\/a>or just FantaWatt, is a nomadic laboratory workshop for children providing computers and multimedia equipment. In the workshop the children can play and learn through thematic discovery workshops. The name refers to the characteristics of creativity, manual activity, stimulation of imagination and wonder proposed in the workshop. The peculiarity of the FW idea lies in its practical and experimental approach, combining play and learning, art and science, in a magic lab where kids learn by doing things.<\/p>\n

Children\u2019s invention of beauty through media disposes them to seek beauty in the world outside of their own inventions, and to care for objects and others. By considering the aesthetic attitude that children have toward their work, we discover their high-level thinking and how it establishes a more careful relation to the world of objects and actions. If supported, this aesthetic disposition of caring and empathy will transfer to the other worlds in which they participate.<\/p>\n

Fantasienwerkstatt<\/p>\n

FantasienWerkstatt<\/em> ist eine Werkstatt f\u00fcr Kinder,\u00a0die mit Computern und multimedialen Ger\u00e4ten ausgestattet ist. Dank interaktiver Installationen k\u00f6nnen die Kinder in den thematisch gestalteten Werkst\u00e4tten auf spielerische Weise lernen. Der Name verweist auf Charakteristika wie Kreativit\u00e4t, manuelle Fertigkeit und Fantasie, die von der Werkstatt gef\u00f6rdert werden sollen.<\/p>\n

Das Besondere am Konzept der\u00a0FantasienWerkstatt<\/em>\u00a0ist seine praxisbetonte, experimentelle Ausrichtung,\u00a0wobei Kunst und Wissenschaft, Spielen und Lernen eine Einheit bilden, denn in den Werkst\u00e4tten lernen die Kinder durch ihr praktisches Tun. Das Projekt geht \u00fcber ein interaktives Kindermuseum hinaus, da vielmehr eine wirklich praktisch ausgelegte Werkst\u00e4tte geschaffen werden soll.<\/p>\n

Die FantasienWerkstatt wird mit Multimedia-Tools und anderen geeigneten Ger\u00e4tschaften ausgestattet sein, um interaktive Installationen zu verwirklichen. Im Mittelpunkt steht der gro\u00dfe kreisf\u00f6rmige Raum mit seinem 360\u00b0- Projektionssystem.\u00a0Die Werkstatt ist ein Ort der Utopie, ein Raum voller Fantasie, der unsere Empfindung und Wahrnehmung reizt.<\/p>\n
